...........The new album available now! This album is the fruit of almost three years of experimenting with sounds, rhythms, texts, and melodies. Four friends, Amir, Karl, and Laurent, reenforced a bit later by Andrzej, members of the new formation Espo Despo, prepared the CD since late 2005, slowly but with persistance and enthusiasm. They made several versions of each song, before the arrangements, the recording, the mixing, and the mastering were finished - and only when the result had attained a quality that satisfied everyone. This explains the long conception time of this album, which was made with attention, pleasure, desire, love, and hope.
The texts have subjects dealing with life, love, human error, desperation, misery in the world, happiness and suffering, losing and finding, meaningless and pitiless war, destiny and liberty, the stars and the sea, dilemmas and human hope. The texts are from several authors, among whom the classical poets Adam Mickiewicz, Nikolai Kurzens, and Poul Thorsen.

Musically the songs are very diversified, with a musical base from world music with Afro- European origins, with elements of pop, rock, and sometimes even jazz. The Espo Despo four, starting from musically original ideas, rich texts, and suggestive voices, have succeeded in unifying a genre in diversity by creating their own original style.
Several guest musicians brought their own contribution to the project, among them Alejandro Cossavella (Ale) and Jean-Marc Leclercq (JoMo), who have recorded their great voices in one song each. We can also hear the trumpette of David-Emil Wickström, the accordeon of Emir Bosnjak, and the guitar of Dino Pehilj.
A first for an artist singing in Esperanto: the album was released on the Web through downloading platforms, without a production label. The physical album is burned in small quantities by the group itself, and distributed by Vinilkosmo.
